hi, thanks for posting this information about Dr Bryan O’Connor, he was my 4th great grandmothers brother, Mary Lavina O’Connor married Wm. Henry Loftus Alcock in Bantry in 1797, He was part of the wexford militia and visited Dr Bryan O’Connor in goal and this was seen as correspondence with the enemy and he was transported also with Dr. O’Connor to Botany Bay on the Minerva. Do you have a copy of the letter written by Emmanuel Hutchins? I would love to read that. I hoped to find more information on Dr O’Connor and his parents and brothers. In Dr O’Connor’s trial transcript, he stated that he had 3 brothers who were officers in HIs Majesty’s service. Also I wanted to find out what happened to my 4th great grandmother mary lavina O’Connor Alcock. thanks for any help you may be able to offer
