Lawn Tennis Lining Machine by Robert Day and Sons Cork in Gortnagrough Folk Museum, Ballydehob, Co. Cork.
Mr and Mrs Camier have been collecting items of local interest for the last 60 years. Their museum is located in Gortnagrough to the north of Ballydehob.
The plate on the machine indicates Day and Sons. It may be that it was made by some other firm and that they were the vendors. The firm appears variously as harness makers and fancy leather goods at Bowling Green Street, Cork.
The Cork Antiquarian Robert Day may be connected to the firm.
