When we visited Mizen Head earlier this year, I bought a copy of a book /The Metal Mines of West Cork/ by Diana Hodnett published by the Trevithick Society in Cornwall, which has a chapter devoted to the Dereenalomane Copper and Barytes Mine (1843-1920), which complements your work. The book is a mine (no pun intended) of information about West Cork.
