I am interested in these photographs. I recently wrote and self-published a book on my grandfather, John O’Sullivan 1871-1962, entitled “Mr O’:The Life and Times of an Irish Policeman”. He married Sarah Clarke from Cappanaboul in 1901.Her previous beau was an English naval officer called “Jack ?”. It is nice to speculate that maybe the girl in white is Sarah and that Jack was serving on that very ship in the harbour where there was always an armed naval presence in those days.
