26th May, 1820, Selection by William Swanton of James and William Swanton and Charles King as Enumerators to assist him under the Population Act (Census) for the West Division of West Carbury, Co. Cork.

Many local families from the area including Mizen adn Durrus including the Attridges, Bakers, Dukelows, Gallaghers, Kings, Skuses and Swantons were starting to emigrate to new Brunswick.  Included were the ancestors of Bing Crosby.
