Thank you so much for the Montana’s Mining-town link, as it may have possibly helped explain an odd bit of family folklore, regarding the husband of a grand Aunt, who spent some time in Montana and who married to a man named “Murphy.” and doesn’t at all look Irish. I’m wondering if the Persian run dealer mentioned in the article, may in fact be her “Murphy.” Or it’s a similar type of trajectory.
