Prize Medal, Richard Hartland, Grenadier Company, Royal Cork Volunteers, Cork, 1810.
This is in the name of Richard Hartland. He may have been one of the seedsman family who at the time were supplying Bantry House as part of their planting programme. The family had nurseries near the Lough and local roads still bear their name.
Probably from Richard Day, Journal of Cork Historical and Archaeological Society.

Dear Sir/Madam, I’m currently doing research on the Hartland family and would love to find out more about this post and the images of the medals. Can you tell me in what book these images appear?
Many thanks, Catherine Coakley
