The only picture of the Irish House of Lords in Session 1704, Chichester House, Dublin.
Chichester House , an Elizabethan Residence was the location the various Irish parliaments from the Restoration. until 1729. On the same site by the buildings on College Green which housed the Irish House of Commons and Lords now the Bank of Ireland. The site was reputedly in the past a nunnery.
The Lords are seated on woolsacks traditionally a tribute to the House of Lords.
The House of Lords is open to the public on College Green and is curated by a very helpful Bank Official there is a limited visual display relating to the Parliament and House of Lords.
