In the records of St. Annes Shandon, Cork, there is a marriage on the 13th August 1828 between Henry Baldwin Evanson MD and Mary Murphy performed by John Murphy. It is probable that this is the Murphy family of Newtown, Bantry as her brother John was a Rector at the time
