At a vestry duly summoned and held in the parish church of Murragh on Thursday October 8 1795 it was then and there agreed on by Richard John Hingston Licensed curate of the parish of Kilbrogan one churchwarden and by the majority of the Protestant inhabitants of said parish pre present at said vestry that the applotment of forty two pounds sterling lately applotted upon the inhabitants landholders and lands of the said parish (for the purpose of erecting a new church in such part of sd parish as should be approved of by the Lord Bishop of Cork) is due to regular, being at the rate of three pounds sterling applotted upon each and every plowlands and we do hereby ratify and confirm the same
